Because we want to continue Reg’s legacy of providing a showcase for Staithes’ heritage, a venue for local artists and craftspeople, and a space for community learning, we now need your help. The charity relies entirely on the commitment and hard work of dedicated volunteers and the generosity of individual residents, visitors and organisations.

• You can become a Friend of The Staithes Story, benefitting from an annual pass to visit the centre, attending behind the scenes talks and keeping you up to date with information on our plans for the future – all for just £25 a year or a lifetime amount of £100. See details on our website.
• You can volunteer your time to help with our many activities both in front of and behind the scenes, making sure that our visitors of all ages have a great experience, whether researching their family history or just enjoying our fascinating heritage. You can spend as much or as little
