'The Mermaids of Staithes: A Yorkshire Myth' a booklet written by Professor Sarah Peverley in collaboration with Tess Willoughby and drawing on the research undertaken by Sarah for her research project 'Mermaids of the British Isles and Ireland'.  The booklet tells the story of the Mermaids and the history of the story in Staithes.
