Keep up with Staithes Museum
There’s always something happening at Staithes Museum — a new object to discover, a photograph to identify, a story from the archive, an event coming up, or simply something interesting about Staithes that we think you’ll enjoy.
We share different things in different places, so choose the one that suits you best.

Our Facebook Group
Our Facebook group is a little different.
It's a place for people who love Staithes to share their own photographs, memories, stories and knowledge. If you recognise someone in an old photograph, remember a shop that used to be in the village, or have a family connection to Staithes, this is a good place to join the conversation.

The Museum Newsletter
Our newsletter is a monthly round-up of what's happening at the museum.
It's where we go into a little more depth about new exhibitions, events, projects, discoveries, objects from the collection, volunteering and the work that goes on behind the scenes.
If you want to know what we've been up to — and what's coming next — this is the one to sign up for.

The Museum Blog
Our blog is where we can take a little more time with a story.
You'll find longer articles about Staithes, its people and its history, as well as stories from the museum collection, research discoveries, new projects and the occasional mystery we're trying to solve.
It's a good place to start if you want to explore Staithes beyond the museum's display cases.

YouTube
Our YouTube channel is becoming a growing collection of films and videos about Staithes.
You'll find local voices, walks around the village, stories about the museum and its collection, oral history, and films made to help you explore Staithes whether you're visiting in person or discovering the village from somewhere else.
We're continuing to add to the collection, so there's more to come.

Follow along
You don't need to follow us everywhere — although you're very welcome to!
Choose Instagram or Facebook for regular snippets and stories, sign up for the newsletter for a monthly museum update, explore the blog for longer reads, or visit YouTube when you'd rather sit back and watch.
Wherever you find us, we're glad you're here.
