Where are we?
Staithes Museum is in the heart of the old village, just a short walk from the harbour.
What will I find at the museum?
The museum is packed with objects and stories from Staithes and the surrounding area. You'll find fishing and maritime history, Captain Cook, local art, photographs, domestic life, historic documents and much more.
There are stories about the people who lived and worked here, as well as some wonderfully unexpected objects.
